What better way to your Valentine’s heart than with a sweet, sticky, treat? Baked treats are more popular than ever and something homemade says “I love you” so much more than even the biggest box of most expensive handmade chocolates. Check out these special Valentine’s cakes:

Have you told that special someone just how much you love them yet? Bake a cake and hide a heart shape within it, so when they cut a slice it reveals the hidden heart. After all Valentine’s is partly about revealing crushes, so why not do it with cake?
Valentines Heart Cupcakes
If you’re not an avid baker then these valentines’ heart cakes may well be the best choice for you. You can just whip up a basic sponge mix and pour it into silicone heart shapes. Once they are cooked and cooled, pop them out of the mould and get creative with the icing. Sprinkle decorative hearts, or if you’ve got something special to say, buy a packet of love heart sweets.

They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach so why not try out a rich strawberry gateau. Fashion the gateau into a heart shape and top with strawberries.
