18th Birthday Ice Lolly Sticks – All Grown Up
Pre-engraved with "ALL GROWN UP" — the sentimental one, and usually the one a parent orders rather than the birthday girl or boy. Flat birch wood ice lolly sticks, ready to use straight from the pack with no minimum order and no custom run required. Order a single stick or up to 10,000.
FSC-certified natural birch, laser-etched with no inks or dyes, so they are food-safe for direct contact with cakesicles, ice lollies and chocolate-dipped treats. All four sizes held in UK stock at our Blackpool warehouse for same-day despatch.

Ideal for an 18th
- The parent-hosted 18th — a lunch or afternoon party where the wording is meant to land with the family, not just the friends
- Cakesicles on a dessert table alongside baby photos and a memory board, where the stick carries the sentiment the styling cannot
- Joint 18ths and shared parties, since the wording works for either guest of honour without naming one
- Keepsakes — the engraving is cut into the wood, so a stick kept from the day does not fade like a printed label
- Venue and caterer orders — bulk packs to 10,000 for multiple parties a season
Frequently asked questions
How many sticks do I need for an 18th birthday party?
One stick per cakesicle or lolly, and one treat per guest is the usual allowance. A parent-hosted 18th with 60 guests therefore needs 60 sticks, so a pack of 100 covers it with room for breakages and a tasting batch. If the sticks are also going into cake pops or dipped strawberries, count those separately.
Will "All Grown Up" suit a joint or shared 18th?
Yes — it is one of the few sayings that does not assume a single guest of honour, so it works for twins, joint parties and shared year-group celebrations where naming one person would be awkward. If you would rather have both names on the stick, our bespoke service takes any wording with no minimum order.
What size stick is best for cakesicles?
Both 93×10×2mm and 114×10×2mm fit the standard UK cakesicle moulds. 93mm is the usual choice and sits neatly in the mould; 114mm gives you more stick to hold, which suits deeper moulds and larger cakesicles. The 200×24×2mm paddle is for oversized, statement pieces — it will not fit a standard mould.
Can the sticks go in the freezer?
Yes. Birch handles freezing without splintering, which is why it is the standard for ice lollies. Freeze the finished lolly with the stick in place as normal — the engraving is cut into the wood, not printed on, so it will not lift or fade at low temperatures.
Will the engraving affect the taste?
No. The lettering is laser-etched into the surface of the wood — no inks, dyes or coatings are used at any stage, so there is nothing to transfer into the food. The sticks are food-grade and safe for direct contact with chocolate, ice cream and set sugar.
Can I get a name or date on them instead?
Yes — our bespoke engraved sticks take any wording, including a name, age and date, with no minimum order. Useful if you want the guest of honour's name on the sticks rather than a stock saying.
Trade buyers can open a Trade Account and save up to 40% against retail prices. Ordering 100,000 or more? Hot stamping works out considerably cheaper at that volume.
