18th Birthday Ice Lolly Sticks – Born to Party
Pre-engraved with "BORN TO PARTY" — the loud one, and the pick for an 18th that runs into the early hours rather than a sit-down lunch. Flat birch wood ice lolly sticks, ready to use straight from the pack with no minimum order and no custom run required. Order a single stick or up to 10,000.
FSC-certified natural birch, laser-etched with no inks or dyes, so they are food-safe for direct contact with cakesicles, ice lollies and chocolate-dipped treats. All four sizes held in UK stock at our Blackpool warehouse for same-day despatch.

- Hired-venue and function-room 18ths, where the dessert table has to hold its own against the lighting and the music

Frequently asked questions
How many sticks do I need for an 18th birthday party?
One stick per cakesicle or lolly, and one treat per guest is the usual allowance. A hired-venue 18th with 80 guests needs 80 sticks, so a pack of 100 is the sensible order — it covers breakages and the handful that get eaten during setup. If the sticks are also going into cake pops or dipped strawberries, count those separately.
Can I use these on a drinks station as well as the dessert table?
Yes, and it is worth doing at a party this size. The 200×24×2mm paddle is wide enough to work as a stirrer for mocktails and punch, so the same engraving carries across both stations. Order that size separately from your cakesicle size rather than trying to make one size do both jobs.
What size stick is best for cakesicles?
Both 93×10×2mm and 114×10×2mm fit the standard UK cakesicle moulds. 93mm is the usual choice and sits neatly in the mould; 114mm gives you more stick to hold, which suits deeper moulds and larger cakesicles. The 200×24×2mm paddle is for oversized, statement pieces — it will not fit a standard mould.
Can the sticks go in the freezer?
Yes. Birch handles freezing without splintering, which is why it is the standard for ice lollies. Freeze the finished lolly with the stick in place as normal — the engraving is cut into the wood, not printed on, so it will not lift or fade at low temperatures.
Will the engraving affect the taste?
No. The lettering is laser-etched into the surface of the wood — no inks, dyes or coatings are used at any stage, so there is nothing to transfer into the food. The sticks are food-grade and safe for direct contact with chocolate, ice cream and set sugar.
Can I get a name or date on them instead?
Yes — our bespoke engraved sticks take any wording, including a name, age and date, with no minimum order. Useful if you want the guest of honour's name on the sticks rather than a stock saying.
Trade buyers can open a Trade Account and save up to 40% against retail prices. Ordering 100,000 or more? Hot stamping works out considerably cheaper at that volume.
