21st Birthday Ice Lolly Sticks – 21 Looks Good
Pre-engraved with "21 LOOKS GOOD" — the compliment one. It is aimed outward at the guest of honour rather than being a general party line, which makes it the one to pick if the sticks are going into a gift box or laid at one particular place setting. Confident without being loud. Flat birch wood ice lolly sticks, ready to use straight from the pack with no minimum order and no custom run required. Order a single stick or up to 10,000.
FSC-certified natural birch, laser-etched with no inks or dyes, so they are food-safe for direct contact with cakesicles, ice lollies and chocolate-dipped treats. All four sizes held in UK stock at our Blackpool warehouse for same-day despatch.

- Smaller 21sts of thirty or forty, where each guest gets one and the compliment is repeated round the table
- Mixing with other sayings from the range if you want variety across one dessert table rather than nine identical rows
- Surprise parties, where the sticks are prepared in advance and the wording gives nothing away in the fridge
- Bakers and cake decorators buying to 10,000 for repeat 21st orders with no artwork lead time
Frequently asked questions
How many sticks do I need for a 21st birthday party?
One stick per cakesicle or lolly, and one treat per guest is the usual allowance — so a 35-guest 21st comes out at a pack of 50, which leaves a handful spare for breakages and tasting. If the sticks are also going into cake pops or dipped strawberries, count those separately. They are cheap enough per stick that it is worth ordering the next size up rather than running short mid-batch.
What size stick is best for cakesicles?
Both 93×10×2mm and 114×10×2mm fit the standard UK cakesicle moulds. 93mm is the usual choice and sits neatly in the mould; 114mm gives you more stick to hold, which suits deeper moulds and larger cakesicles. The 200×24×2mm paddle is for oversized, statement pieces — it will not fit a standard mould.
Can I mix this saying with the other 21st designs on one table?
Yes, and it is a common way to use them. All nine 21st sayings are engraved on the same birch stock in the same four sizes, so a mixed table looks like one set rather than several. Worth knowing on cost: the price per stick falls as the pack size rises, so several small packs of different sayings will come to more than one large pack of a single saying — mixing is a styling choice rather than a saving. If you do mix, keep the chocolate finish consistent so the sticks are the only thing changing.
Can the sticks go in the freezer?
Yes. Birch handles freezing without splintering, which is why it is the standard for ice lollies. Freeze the finished lolly with the stick in place as normal — the engraving is cut into the wood, not printed on, so it will not lift or fade at low temperatures.
Will the engraving affect the taste?
No. The lettering is laser-etched into the surface of the wood — no inks, dyes or coatings are used at any stage, so there is nothing to transfer into the food. The sticks are food-grade and safe for direct contact with chocolate, ice cream and set sugar.
Can I get a name or date on them instead?
Yes — our bespoke engraved sticks take any wording, including a name, age and date, with no minimum order. Useful if you want the guest of honour's name on the sticks rather than a stock saying.
Trade buyers can open a Trade Account and save up to 40% against retail prices. Ordering 100,000 or more? Hot stamping works out considerably cheaper at that volume.
