We just absolutely love Sweet Amb's beautiful cookies. Yes, we hear you, not everyone has the amazing decorating biscuit talent that Sweet Amb's has - we certainly don't. But there is no reason that this should stop you from making your own. We have a variety of cookie cutters available at Yolli to help you to get started. Colourful Biscuits We've put together a super simple recipe for biscuits that you can try out yourself at home. If you're feeling a little adventurous why not add your own variations to this recipe below by adding chocolate chips, white chocolate bits, raisins or lemon/lime zest.

Simple Recipe for Biscuits

250g butter, softened 140g caster sugar 1 egg yolk 2 tsp vanilla extract 300g plain flour

Step 1:

Mix 250g softened butter and 140g caster sugar in a large bowl with a wooden spoon Step 2: Add 1 egg yolk and 2 tsp vanilla extract and briefly beat to combine.

Step 3:

Sift over 300g plain flour and stir until the mixture is well combined – you might need to get your hands in at the end to give everything a really good mix and press the dough together. (If little ones are helping - be sure that they have washed their mitts!)

Step 4:

Put into the oven (180C/fan 160C/gas 4) for 12-15 minutes.

Step 5:
